4 Myria Nodes operating

Since our last update, we have made very good progress on understanding and participating in our MYRIA nodes! All four of our nodes are now running, and let's walk through that today.

We realized that there are a requirement of having 2 cores per machine and not running 2 nodes on the same machine. We are using $26 dollar servers from digital ocean for our nodes. Luckily, it looks like the $MYRIA production will more than make up for it.

If we earn enough $MYRIA fast enough (40 days?), should we try to get another node? We are still considering the idea, if you are a MYRIANODE holder club member, let us know what you think about it down below:

So as long as we don't 'claim', and wait a week for rewards to start dropping into our wallet, we won't pay any fees. There is a 50% haircut for early claiming, we will see what happens with the $MRYIA price the next 2-4 when the first node rewards start getting unlocked.

Ours will start falling into our wallets next Monday.

The $MYRIA token will also be able to be used in other ways in the future, such as staking, and we will have to have all of these discussions within the club.

What do you think we should do?

We will be voting appropriate comments of holders who are interested in expressing their opinion on this particular crossroads of the project. While holding back 'some' of the rewards may be discussed, be aware that holding back all of them will not be a viable option.

So far it is looking like 10% for servers and 10% for management will be enough to cover all the technical aspects.

Likely at least some funds should be used to establish a permanent corporate buyback wall for the token. How much is enough?

Lots of questions, and still 5 days before the first rewards drop into our wallet. Let's get a discussion forming in the meantime.

If you think they will retain a value to us, I say get another node.

I agree with witty. If you think they'll give a return high enough to pay off the node and then some, it makes sense to get another.

The other way I'd do this is to build a buy wall with the proceeds to a certain level. Once you hit that level, instead of having to sell the tokens to get paid back, I would cash out the proceeds from the nodes and random airdrop Hive or HBD to all holders of the token, with no set expectation on what kinds of returns will happen or if returns will happen. If they want to take the Hive/HBD payout and put their own buy wall, so be it. And yes, I think 10% for servers and 10% for management sounds reasonable as long as the 10% for servers is able to cover the server costs in their entirety.

Congratulations @psybersects! You have completed the following achievement on the Hive blockchain And have been rewarded with New badge(s)

You received more than 100 HP as payout for your posts, comments and curation.
Your next payout target is 250 HP.
The unit is Hive Power equivalent because post and comment rewards can be split into HP and HBD

You can view your badges on your board and compare yourself to others in the Ranking
