The topics of this weekend engagement are interesting as usual.I am going to select the option number one,
Create an artwork using pencil,paints, charcoal,pen or ink or any other media of your choice,take a photo and post about it.Tell us why you created it what inspired you or what story your artwork tell.
This drawing is one my boyhood memorable artworks.It shows a modern man with beard,moustache and a hat.His closed eyes shows humbleness which reflects the soft image of a beard person which was the main theme of the activity.
In 2015 along with my fellows and with the help of teachers I organized a event for drawing.It was an activity based event which is loved by everyone in the campus.It was a time when Educational institutes are on high alert.
Reason of the Event
It was December 16,2014 when a heavily armed Taliban terrorist group attack the Army Public School Peshawar (Pakistan).The whole nation get shocked.We lost almost 149 inocent children along with the school staff.This was very painful incident.
The National Action Plan was designed to deal with them.The hate about terrorist get increased.In all this scenario people started to hate beard men too. Especially for the college going student beard becomes a sign of terrorism.All the men with beard are considered as terrorist.This fact get ignored that to be with beard on your face is your choice, you reserve the right.This leads to portrait a modern man's face having a beard.Along with my college fellows we started to put a soft image of beard People.We arranged debate competition in a healthy environment.To consider that every beard person is not a terrorist.But every thing is a part of past.Now we have a peaceful Pakistan.It is the result of great struggle.
