Weekend Experiences!
Once again I am with you to talk a little bit about one of the topics that @galenkp proposes us for the weekends, and to share with you a little bit of what has been mine.
Well, I tell you that it has been two very busy days, because between Friday and Saturday I was buying goods to supply my small business. Unfortunately today, Sunday, I have to be on medical duty, which I don't like because I don't get to rest on this day as I usually do. I think this was recently discussed in this community.
Despite the busy days, I can say that I had a great time, because I love to share with my in-laws, and I was able to find the merchandise I was looking for at the best possible price.
Going into the subject I want to develop today, I would like to tell you that I have fired a gun, but never against anyone. In fact I would not like for any reason to have to do it, I prefer to hit with a blunt object, in case I need to defend myself against something or someone.
I have fired on several occasions with automatic rifles. At first I did it shot by shot, but then, in some occasions, I did it in burst. When I had the possibility to shoot few bullets, I didn't feel anything special when I did it.
But when I started firing more bullets, and the time spent in the shooting round became longer, the sound of the bullets began to give me a feeling of slight fear.
My imagination led me to think of some real war situation, where the danger of dying and killing was more likely than in the target practice where I was, and it didn't look pretty.
I always said to myself that if it was like that with a few bullets, what would it be like when the mortars, tanks, and howitzers made themselves felt? I'm sure terror would be king all over the place.
That is why, for my country, for any other country in the world, I wish for wars or conflicts. I know it is utopian what I mention, but it is my wish, and I hope that someday, bullets will not be the ones to decide if a person lives or dies.

on the other hand, I have never fired a gun. It's actually not even legal here in Malaysia to possess one unless you're like a policeman or soldier or shooting range with a license.
The closest I've had to shooting something is paintballs and those hurt so I can't even imagine what it would be like getting hit with a real bullet.
This is interesting. Personally, I would prefer peace. I'm glad I didn't have to go to world war 2 or 3. Any reason why you wish for wars to happen where a lot of people die?
In Cuba it is also illegal to carry firearms, but all men go through military service, and that is where all this shooting practice takes place. Even policemen cannot keep their regulation weapon at home, before leaving their shift, they must leave it at their corresponding unit.
