Festival of "Knowledge and Flavors" in my university village. Falcón/Venezuela

Hello to all the hiver friends in this beautiful community of weekend experiences, it is a great pleasure to debut with you and share my pleasant experience at the first "Saberes y Sabores" festival in my university village; which, in addition to allowing us to share learning, also gives us the opportunity to delight in tastes and flavors typical of our region.

As I stated in the previous paragraph, the Festival of Knowledge and Flavors is a guiding event of the Bolivarian University of Venezuela, with the objective of sharing at the end of each academic semester, a summary of the progress of our community projects in order to respond to their needs, according to our National Training Programs (PNF).

In this sense, from the early hours of this Saturday morning 01/03/25, the students of each PNF (Education, Computer Science, Electronics, Electricity, Information and Documentation, Environmental Management and Social Communication) presented ourselves at the university village to decorate and arrange our stand with the information corresponding to knowledge and foods alluding to flavor to await the visit of the qualifying jury to evaluate our exhibition.

My group, for my part, corresponds to the PNF Social Communication, specifically, the tenth or last semester and we spoke about Alternative Media, social networks and their benefits for the various communities for which we are working with our Participatory and Transformative Action-Research project (IAPT)

We are 4 project groups working as a community radio station, digital newspaper, informative blog-style website, and Facebook page for 4 different communities in the Miranda municipality of our city of Santa Ana de Coro, Falcón-Venezuela.

Alternative media, which these communities totally lack, and which serve to strengthen effective communication between their members, as well as to promote and exalt their history, culture, values and characters; an exhibition that delighted the judging panel and congratulated us for our performance.
This experience in particular seemed exciting, enriching and with a very satisfactory result as a student, almost as a social communicator and as an individual; since presenting our achievements to the jury and receiving not only their approval, but the highest grade is really encouraging, in addition to confirming with the opinion of the experts that the communities will be highly benefited by these projects is another level.

This feeling was expressed by all my colleagues present and others who could not attend due to prior commitments, but were there virtually and so satisfied we ended up spending a pleasant afternoon enjoying the exhibition of the remaining PNF.

Everyone was excellent in their "Saberes" and tasting the salty and sweet "Flavors" typical of our region **(peeled arepas, goat cheese, black beans, whey, creole flag, milk candy, papaya candy, paledonias, macaroni, cupcakes, cookies, cakes, etc.)** and of course, the joviality of some colleagues honoring the carnival was also present.

I reiterate that it was a pleasure to share this pleasant experience with you, dear friends, and I hope to continue to be active with many more weekend experiences. I invite @zhanavic69 and @emily2021 to share their experiences with us.
