Based on the comment from @hivewatcher, there appears to be an alleged pattern of abuse. They usually put such users on an autodownvote but it would be nice if these are accompanied with a comment pointing users to the evidence for transparency. I don't know how difficult of an ask that would be but did mention in my reply to their comment to you so hopefully we will see.

if it's against the law to ask people to donate for your surgery, then it should also be against the law for all of the other "charity organizations" on this platform.
