I lost my grandfather when I was 7 years old and very similar things happened to me. I don't think he was the best father for my mum but he was the best grandfather, even with all the mistakes he made, but he loved me and I loved him.

    First, I want to thank you for reading and connect with my story.

    Losing our grandparents at an early age is the worst because when we grow up all we want is our children to know these wonderful people. Sadly, things never happen as we expected.
