RE: Week # 307 Lessons from the Ego

That last sentence says it all and sums it up: the ego stands in opposition to love, peace and all the positive things in life. The ego is there to teach us to control it, and that it is better not to follow that voice that tells us we are right, or conversely, when it tells us we are the worst in the world. You learnt from that experience that apologising does not make you weak; on the contrary, it elevates you. It is not necessary to be right about things, but rather to reach a mutual understanding with the other person and to prioritise dialogue.

The ego can be a great teacher when you have the ability to detach from it and see what it can do to our lives, and then change course. Thank you very much, a big hug!🤗

Thank you very much, qma, for your kind words and for showing that, whilst the ego can be harmful, if we know how to draw positive lessons from it, it can be of great benefit to us.
Once again, thank you for your generosity and kindness, and for all the support you give to our work. Have a lovely Sunday. Best wishes.

Sharing such an important experience can always help someone else, and I really appreciate that. Thank you!
