I'm glad she is home, and feeling a bit better. Last week I had to get the pneumonia vaccine shot, this years downward spiral started they said from pneumonia and with my age and health it was highly recommended. I hope it helps prevent future cases of pneumonia for me. I don't think it is available for children though. I have had lots of bouts of pneumonia, most of it what they termed as walking pneumonia, and of course that meant tons of anti-bacteria meds, and like you mentioned the death of the good bacteria.
I have never heard of waling pneumonia before. Hopefully the vaccine works for you!
I hope it works. All walking pneumonia, basically a very heavy chest feeling and a real bad cold symptoms. Not bad enough to stay in bed, but it can get bad if not treated.
My wife might have that now - she will go for tests next week.
She needs the test, you still need antibiotics to clear it up if she has it.
