My weekends usually follow a fairly predictable routine in terms of the household chores I leave for the weekend. On Saturdays, I usually do the shopping for the home, everything I need to keep my house running, from food for us and our cats to everything else I use at home, from personal care products to cleaning supplies.
If for any reason we don't do this shopping for the weekend, we schedule it for a weekday, but the truth is that it's quite cumbersome, because everyone is working and going out alone isn't convenient for me because there are so many things to carry and transport, even if I use a shopping cart, so this household chore is left for the weekend.
Another task I leave for the weekend is laundry, because that's when I gather all the clothes from the week and do one big load at once. Uniforms are washed, especially to get them ready for the start of the week. Other household chores are often postponed, such as meals and snacks, because sometimes we eat out or buy food and eat at home, unless we have other plans for the weekend and there are no meals out. If that's the case, someone who doesn't usually cook during the week does the cooking, which means I try not to be that person, ha ha ha.
For me, weekends should be as relaxing as possible, even outside of regular hours. That's when we all get up a little later than usual, we eat as I mentioned, usually late, we do all our things, but more calmly, and if we're doing other activities, we devote ourselves to enjoying ourselves and being happy.
This is my contribution to Weekend-Engagement topics: WEEK 279. Greetings, dear friends!
