A wonderful weekend to everyone, today I'm gonna be sharing with you my post-birthday celebration with the Ladies in our church and how they prepared a celebration for January celebrants.
Our group was called Phebe Ladies and we bonded together last Saturday. Each one of us brings different kinds of snacks for everyone. We started at 2:00 pm, we had singing, life testimony, and of course the Word of God. After hearing some encouragement from our fellow ladies and the Word of God we had our games.

Our game was about Ladies in the bible their life and their impact on us. Then a puzzle game where we form the exact picture and verses from the Bible. Everyone was enjoying the games and the sweet fellowship.
While we were playing our young people were preparing the foods brought by the ladies and made some roasted pork. While they are roasting smells from the roasted pork that went inside the church, make our tummy feel hungry.

After the games we have our prizes, and some groceries will be shared with the winners and of course for the non-winners. They are very busy sharing what they got from their prizes.

Sampaloc
After distribution, we have our shared meal or early dinner. There are different foods on the table, roasted pork, pansit, banana cake, pichi-pichi, a pan of sticky rice, linusak, lechon chicken, and a basket of pansit Malabon. There is also rice because rice is life. There is also Sampaloc which we missed eating since we were young.
They sang first a birthday song to January celebrants dug into the food and enjoyed every bite, faces of joy were printed on each face. Together with the youth, we enjoy the food.
Lots of stories were shared with everybody while eating. There are lots of leftovers so we share it with everyone to be brought home. The young people did the aftercare and washed the utensils we used. We thank them for doing so.

The day was almost done so we took pictures for everyone to be a remembrance of this activity. By 5:00 pm we departed each other as we prepared dinner for our families.
I thank everyone for coming to enjoy the fellowship together with fellow ladies. It is needful for every wife to spend time away from home and enjoy life together with fellow wives and talk about life. These will help them encourage and release some burdens in the family. These will help them also be true to themselves through games without thinking of lots of responsibilities at home. Sometimes we need time to go out and be ourselves.

Food looks pretty tasty thou! By the way, what an interesting celebration... I mean, here, in Venezuela Women's month is in May, you guys celebrated in January. The important thing is women all over are honored and recognised!
