I didn't get a weekend last week so I'm making up for it this week; when I finished work I remember thinking, at last the weekend's here, something I thought with great excitement. Here's what I'll be doing.
After twelve days of late nights and early mornings I've decided a sleep in must happen, it eats into the day a bit but I feel that a decent sleep will set me up for the weekend. I'm meeting someone later in the morning to catch up after a month or so of them having been away and I'm really looking forward to that because we always have a good time together. Later on I'm playing tennis with a group of other friends who will go home crying because I am going to crush them on the court.
Sunday is a bit of an unknown at this stage because I'm waiting on confirmation of a potential movie with someone and lunch afterwards; I don't know what movie it'll be, I'll leave that choice to the other person to decide, but I hope it happens because I like going to the movies, eating popcorn and then a pizza later on seems like the perfect way to end the outing.
That's about it for the weekend, maybe I'll get a few other things in as well but I don't want to do too much. A busy and active Saturday followed by a more relaxed Sunday seems like the best way to draw some value our of my first weekend for two weeks.
I've always loved this song and I saw this band live back several years before I really knew much about them but still listen now. This group always seems to make great music with a lot of feeling and emotion. I remember when they first burst onto the scene and have liked them ever since.
Hello!!! I hope you can enjoy this Sunday just as your body and mind need... a few more hours in bed will be wonderful... the world will reset itself as soon as you open your eyes.
The music was wonderful, I loved it... especially the first one. Am I that old? 😅 The eighties feel so far away today.
It's started out ok and there's a lot still to go so I think I'm in for a good one.
I know what you mean about the 1980's, it seems like a hundred years ago now, but I had some good years and wouldn't change them.
I think they were the best years, not just because of the music but because of the lifestyle.
