My life has been built on failure and adversity, that's where the very best lessons are and I see each event as a stepping stone to something better. Once I jump from one to the next I close off the past but that doesn't mean I forget the mistakes and efforts, the failures, but I definitely do not dwell on them or give them precious emotional or mental energy that could be better used towards applying the lessons for the future.
I arrived at this weekend with that mindset as the week past was not ideal; I learned from it and am better prepared for the next though and I think that's the best way to approach those bad weeks.
I'm looking at a new car later today so will spend some time in two vehicle dealerships comparing the two I think I like, similar vehicles but different manufacturers. Later on I'm going to a barbeque a friend is having and I'm bringing my partner. She has not met these people previously so she's a little nervous although I know they'll like her; everyone likes her because she's so very likeable.
I'll need to do some housework this weekend as well and for that I'll put some music on...just not the music I've linked below.
This week I thought I'd do something a but different with my music selections; I figured I'd list three tracks that I don't like. These are all from the same artist and first up is this one that I don't like and hot on it's heels is another one that I like not one little bit and bringing up the rear on a trip of songs I don't like is this one that I especially do not like. So that rounds it out for this week, three songs that give me a headache and grind my gears.
Truly that we need to move forward and begin with a fresh mind. But ofcourse, the lesson from the past is important too.
Indeed, just like I said in my post.
