It's only possible to ignore housework for so long and depending on the person that time span is different.
I don't like ignoring housework as I enjoy living in a clean and tidy home which is mainly because living in a pigsty doesn't suit my nature at all. I'm not obsessed with it, at least in my own opinion, but I've been known to not go out in preference to doing my housework on occasions.
This weekend I'm doing exactly that as I decided a deep clean is required and I'll also do some reorganization.
This means I'll empty cupboards, drawers and wardrobes and organize them and quote probably discard some of the contents that is no longer useful or required. I'll be cleaning and wiping, disinfecting, vacuuming, polishing and dusting and doing it all by myself. Well, all by myself with the help of my special gal who I have roped in to help. A romantic house cleaning weekend.
We will eat take out food, listen to music and clean, clean, clean. It's not the most exciting of weekends but it needs to be done.
