Aotearoa is the Maori name for New Zealand...I think you mean My Earnslaw Burn?
It can be hiked into but it takes days so helicopter is the only way generally. Only one company has permission to land there. It's unlikely that one would meet someone else there though. The trek is through some pretty full-on mountain ranges and would be a great trip but for most it's the helicopter.

Yep, indeed. I'd love to do a trek to be honest. Imagine a small group of legit people making their way to this amazing spot...Sounds pretty good to me.
