We were staying in the Marina area, close to the airport, where a lot of the trouble occurred. We had some five hundred conference attendees on a Telegram group reporting from different parts of the city. The most anyone saw was a burning car or two. There was zero panic in the streets. The government's reaction was to close the airport and impose a curfew.
