Today I would like to share my weekend experience and how I managed to be productive despite all odds.
I found myself in the village, and I couldn't think of how to enjoy my limited stay in the village other than to help myself get granulated cassava and other native food.
I was desperately in need of 'Garri', also known as Granulated Cassava, but the problem I encountered was that I had to go to the farm and harvest the cassava, botanically known as 'Manihot Esculenta'.
As someone who has left the strenuous activity of going to the farm for a long time. I found it very difficult, but since there was no one to help me out, I had to bear the pain and carry out the farm work.
Getting to the farm, everywhere looked bushy, and I had to use my hoe to harvest the cassava. It took me up to an hour to get the job done, but I finally harvested as many baskets as I could.
When I finished harvesting the cassava, I encountered another problem: transporting it back home. Because the site where I cultivated the cassava was in a remote area. I had to use a wheelbarrow to bring them back home.
I did what I did because I believe that a lazy man doesn't deserve to eat. Nobody would have done it for me because I'm not paralyzed or handicapped in any way.
With the money I would have wasted on buying an already refined granulated cassava in the market, I was able to save the money for other things I will need in school.

You can decide to drink it with sugar and milk if you are hungry or use it in eating soup of any kind.
