The memory that lasts.

Happy weekend, dear community, it is a pleasure to greet you.

For challenge 298, I select:

What material object that you no longer have has brought you incredible memories that have lasted? Explain.

There are gifts that, depending on who gives them or offers them, leave a lasting impression on our journey. In this weekend's question, I was reminded of my graduation day at the majestic University of the Andes, known internationally as the ULA. It was a beautiful ceremony that lasted three days, beginning with the signing of the certificate, followed by Mass and finally the graduation ceremony, which is the most satisfying and rewarding memory that can exist. During this ceremony, it is traditional for our loved ones to place a ring on our fingers during Holy Mass. In my case, my parents made a great sacrifice to give me a silver ring that left a mark on my heart.

We know that objects come and go, but feelings endure.

I received that ring with much love, but unfortunately, while some people are focused on one thing, others are focused on something else, and in a moment of carelessness on the part of a lady who was helping me with the housework at the time, that object was lost, leaving a feeling of nostalgia in my heart, not because of its monetary value but because of its sentimental value.

Although it is not with me now, I remember that object with great love, because it is a ring that is given only once in a lifetime by our parents. It is a joy to always value and be grateful for it, when we fully understand the meaning of family, our greatest treasure.

I hope you enjoyed my story. See you next time.

Your graduation is very memorable because you were with your parents and they even gave you a ring. I hope you find it because it truly has sentimental value to you.
