The Netherlands is renowned as one of the most touristy spots and listed as part of the 2022 top 10 happiest countries in the world ranking in the Top 5 due to the way of living, healthy life expectancy, freedom, generosity, and good economic condition according to CNN.com.
The Netherlands is a diverse nation that has so many attractive destinations to offer in terms of travel, history, food, street markets, architecture, and more.
In my opinion as a content creator, being great at photography is an advantage.
We then invest our time, money, acquire knowledge and effort in capturing various angles of a subject. Search for insights into where have we been because most of the time we just take photos but we have no clue where and how can we elaborate our content and share ideas.
In addition, not only do we express our thoughts in writing but also it broadens our horizons which is beneficial for both the writer and the reader.
One of the best highlights I adore doing is rooftop bar hopping especially with a cozy and sophisticated view!
I invited my closest friend to join me for a decent coctail and some conversation over the weekend. We both want to encounter a new atmosphere, try different restaurants and embark on exciting adventures for the reason that the more we do out of the box, the more we can discover new things.
How to get there
From Amsterdam Centraal Station, it would take 12 minutes on foot to get there and 2 minutes tram ride if you prefer to go faster.
However, I strongly adviced you to walk because it is simply amusing to stroll, watching interesting people and there are some street performers as well so don't spoil the fun!
W Lounge is located in the heart of Amsterdam Centraal with the complete address of W Hotel, Spuistraat 175, 1012VN, Amsterdam.
Opening Hours
They are available every day with varying hours of operation: Monday through Thursday and Sunday from 12 noon until midnight, Friday to Saturday from 12 noon until 1 a.m.
The best aspect is that there is no entrance fee and no need to make a reservation before entering. So we are therefore delighted to go to this location without a hassle.

Highlights
The interior is awe-striking, sleek, and spacious. It is the rooftop bar of W Amsterdam that serves signature cocktails, hot drinks, champagne options, light bar meals, plus DJ evenings. Hmmm, Fuckin Exciting!!
We arrived here around 4 in the afternoon and we absolutely love this area. There are already some people lining up for a spot to unwind in a photo-worthy atmosphere.
One of my hobbies lately is making mocktails, however, I prefer non-alcoholic or drinks with less alcohol content because I have a low tolerance to alcohol.
I asked the waitress on what sweet fruity cocktail they can recommend for me and they suggested the Berries and Bubbles cocktail.
For non-alcoholic drinkers like myself, I give this mocktail a top rating and heartily recommend it!
This beverage has flavors of raspberry and hibiscus scrub,blackberry,vanilla,and sparkling water,and is sweet, savory and frothy. I paid this for €12. I definitely adore the presentation.
My friend ordered their "On Repeat Signature Cocktail". This beverage is known for its refreshing flavour and sparkling fizz which is composed of Tanqueray Gin, a generous dash of Ginger Beer, Lychee Liquor, Curacaò Blu and Miraculous Bitter.

The Downside
It took almost 20 minutes to have our 2 cocktails get ready. It is too long for us, thus to compensate the waiting time, they serve mix nuts.
Overall Encounter at W Lounge Amsterdam
Impressive interior, delicious reasonable price cocktails, the comfort of the area is superb! Staffs are friendly and properly oriented when it comes to their drinks.
I would suggest to make a reservation in advanced by calling the customer service and specify which area you want to dine
(they have a place near the pool and other tourist spots background views).
In addition, to avoid the crowds, visiting in the weekdays
preferrably in the afternoon around 2p.m to 4p.m to take a breather is advisable.
You will be surprised how Amsterdam Centraal is an Uhmazing city. It is the country of equality, freedom and discrimination is illegal.
The architecture is superb, you can see it everywhere. You will get lost but it will leave you with fantastic treats.
As I mentioned above that I am into mocktails as part of my newly discovered hobby that I adore doing. I learn that creativity can make a difference and practice to mastering a better skills can be done all thru experience.
Representing my Strawberry Ocean Breeze Virgin Mojito Mocktail
Ingredients:
- 100g strawberries
- 1 Lemon Cut into slices
- Any carbonated drink or sparkling water of your choice
- ice cubes
- Blue or green beverage of your choice
Procedure
- Cut the strawberries into pieces
- Put a few ice cubes
- Add sparkling water or any carbonated drink you prefer
- Put 4 pieces of Lemon slices
- Pour any blue or green beverage of your choice I use the Fernandes Green Punch
Featuring My Beach Sunset Rose MOcktail
Ingredients:
- Strawberry Syrup
- orange juice
- ice cubes
- sprite
- munt leaves (optional)
Procedure
- First put some ice cubes in the glass of your choice
- Then add a small amount of Strawberry Syrup
- Pour the Sprite and stir
- Add more ice
- Finally the orange juice and a little bit of syrup on top
- You can have munt leaves as your garnish, strawberry or orange if you wish.
Both of these non-alcoholic cocktails isn't strong but rather fruity. The flavour isn't too sweet at all. It has all the right combination that provides a refreshing summery taste.
Take note that the glass size matter, it is best to use a large one to squeeze all those ingredients!
Making your own version of cocktails can be tricky, plus you also have to be creative on the names to be called.
I shared these two cocktails to my roomate and they really adore it. They complimented that I am ready to put up a cocktail business ahah , well that was a beautiful response!
