I often run the power cord up and over my shoulder to keep it out the way, or sometimes up over something else above me...Keeps it from dangling.

It is a danger to be maneuvering the cable when the tool is turned on, so accidents happen, once the cable is hooked with the wooden cutting disc, luckily the circuit breaker cut the electrical power
