RE: Weekend-engagement week 67: The important week

It's like your relationship with the infinite is critical to your actual being, like without that there is nothing else. I get it.

Health and creativity is so important. Health for obvious reasons and creativity also. I think that's ingrained in humans actually; if we were not creative by nature we would not have had the ability to grow and develop. That's what separates Homo Sapiens from Neanderthal's; cognitive thought. I think the latter also had some ability for creativity [think tools] though but it's that cognitive thought that accelerated things.

Just my thoughts on the matter. I'm creative, so could be making it all up. Lol.

I like this one. There has been lots of research at what makes homo sapiens different and they have narrowed it down to two important factors: brains that can think of concepts that do not yet exist (so creativity is a big thing there) and the capability to share those things with others, we are incredibly social beings that can thrive in large groups thanks to our communication

Yep, thanks cognitive thought. They also started farming crops which eventually led to villages and towns and now cities. That's also when human beings began to be slaves to work. You know, waking up early to tend crops and unable to move around with the seasons due to their crops, houses and livestock etc.

I'd rather be a Neanderthal/hunter-gatherer.

Haha yeah you shoot a mammoth and then you can chill for weeks, you've got an abundance of food anyway! We totally fell for the farming/work trap and now we are stuck. Oh if only the mammoths were still here....

We (humanity) got sucked in by our own greed and hubris. And here we are, still doing it.

Here I thought you were a Neanderthal,

I am.

Rubiks cube

I completed one of these once. Had to take it apart and reconstruct to do it though.

I used mine to throw at my older brother and conk him on his big useless head. I think my love of long range Rubik's cube throwing was a precursor to long range shooting.

It's pretty thick, but I got a few good ones in, mark my words.
