It was during a small trip in which I was able to see a part of the capital of my country (Venezuela) that I was always curious to see but that I could never really make a reality until 2017 that the opportunity to travel with a group of friends came to visit the most beautiful side that the big city was hided.

It was a very spontaneous trip that initially started as a work trip, with a group of friends from college, but then turned into a little vacation to relax and have a different time. The place I visit during that trip is located at the top of Caracas, it is the green lung of the city, "El Ávila". A few times in my life have I had the opportunity to visit a place as incredible as that hill.

To get up there, we had to take the cable car, which I feared greatly because I don't get along very well with heights; but after several minutes that the tour lasted, we reached the top and the whole city could be seen from above, it was the highest altitude experience I have experienced so far in my entire life.

But seeing the city from above was not what captivated me the most, but seeing the other side of the hill, a side that is hidden behind the façade of tall buildings and streets full of people rushing to reach their destinations, a side of beautiful nature and spaces to rest from all the noise of the city.

Seeing the bluer sky than before and the greener and more resplendent nature than ever, I could feel that I was not in that big city, I felt that I was in another place and it really looked like a separate place from the city but it was not like that .

From the top, I could appreciate what it is to really breathe, I felt calm and relaxed being there, I could see the clouds above me; I forgot for a moment that I had to get back on the cable car to return to the life that awaited me on the concrete floor. It was really beautiful to see so much nature in a city that has focused on modern spaces, it was beautiful to get to know a part of the city that not everyone can know and appreciate like I did.

Those places are cool to commune with nature. Going away from all the bad noise of the city. The best part of those cable car trips is when it gets stuck and you are left hanging above the deep forest that covers the skirts of Avila.

That's my nightmare. My cousin, she was going up to meet me there and she got stuck up there for like 15 minutes cuz the wind was a bit strong to keep running the cable car. I was freaking out for her. She was used to that situation. I would see my soul leave my body If that happened to me lol.

Ha, ha, ha, ha. And that's way more common than one would think. I experienced something like that when I went to Mérida for the first time. I was like 9. There wasn't any wind but I could see a lot of people worried while I thought it was cool to be suspended on the air.

Way to much risk for me. Althought, I want to visit one thay the one in Mérida. I would be even more excited to go there and see the snow and the fog from above.

Undoubtedly a beautiful view friend, good that you could admire such a place, it is something that is not appreciated every day, nice photos, greetings. 😉

It is a beautiful view, hope I can get there some other day to see it again.
Thank you for your comment, @ikigaidesign. Blessings!

OMG, it is very beautiful ❤️

When I lived in Venezuela I never had the opportunity to visit the Avila and I regret it, it looks like a beautiful place, how great that you were able to escape a little of the routine and visit it, no doubt you enjoyed it a lot.

See you ✌️

It was a pleasant experience that I want to repeat at some point in my life. Maybe even visit the Humboldt Hotel and meet it for the first time.

Thank you for your comment, @adalathu. Blessings and have a great weekend!

Hopefully you can go again and fulfill that wish. Have a nice day 🤗✌️

It is a unique experience, I understand you because something very similar happened to me when I met the fog and went to the paramos of Merida, the experience was a unique and indescribable moment, to see how nature has so many beautiful things to present to us, is something that we should all value.

What beautiful photos you present me friend, thank you for presenting me this piece of the beautiful Caracas, just by photos.

Greetings and blessings friend @ibraimpvzla18
