Hello @galenkp and friends. There are many inventions that I like a lot, but there are 2 that I use a lot and they are 1.- The internet and 2.- the what´sapp application on the phone.
The second works with the first. 6 months ago we saw photos of the birth of a nephew who is in another country. We also make virtual birthdays and make video calls at the time that we are going to sing the birthday and the family member sings with us with the video call.
We have a group made up of relatives in Colombia, the United States, and Venezuela. Another group of guys in Peru, Italy, Ecuador and Venezuela. Every day we greet each other and any disappointment is told by the what'sapp group. I don't know who invented it, but it is a great tool for communication with all of us who are distant.
The internet was always going to be a popular choice I think, and together with WhatsApp has connected so many people together , just like your family and friends. I have a WhatsApp group with my family who are spread all over the world and it comes in handy to drop messages so everyone knows things at the same time.
So, yes I think the internet is a great invention and it makes me wonder what might be next. Teleportation?

Maybe teleportation is a good invention and surely we would like to try it just to know what it feels like, if we have already gone to the moon and now to Mars, I don't think there are any problems in inventing teleportation.
Teleportation would be a great invention...Although, when one is turned into a cloud of separate molecules for the transfer one would need to be reassembled into a whole thing at the other end...Hopefully all the bits go back in the right places! 😂
