Modern man
What do you feel makes a man, a man, in today's society? What attributes do you feel a man should possess, how should he think and act? Answer in a minimum of 300 words and use your own photos if possible.
The story of man and his development or evolution has been on the biblical account and secondly on the evolution theory where man is called humans Homo sapiens , the wise species. The point here is that MAN AT ALL TIMES HAD BEEN SAID TO BE WISE. And in this contemporary times, how ought man think, act, and do things for him to be the modern man.
A modern man.
A modern man is that man who takes responsibility of his actions and is technologically balancing life and does all possible things within his reach to keep his environment clean and friendly , understanding human rights and is civil.
A man in today's society.
Traditionally, we're told that a man is head of the family who provides for the family. If provision is what makes a man a man then this time , such a man is no longer a man. Because even the woman does same even in some cases provides more.
Does it mean that man is irrelevant in today's society? No that's not the case hence the things which makes a man ,man .
To be a man in today's society, such a
man need to first understand that
- That having the male sex organ is not enough to classify you as a man since the female can choose to have the organs of a man and be called a even when nature didn't make her so.
- That you provide food and shelter for your family doesn't make you a man in the society of today those were in the past.
To be a man , you must be strong to your identity of whom you're not on the bases of gender but of the power of uniqueness that yes, I'm a man holding firmly this uniqueness. Many who were biologically men have lost this to transgendersim or gaysim those who hold firmly to their place and position as man evenly till date are the ones that are men in this time. Gender no more define a man.
Again, to be a man in this 21st century, you must be accountable . Accountability is one great quality that defines who a man is . One who keeps to his words and not afraid of what ever thing. He's a man when his yes is yes.
A man in today's society is that who keeps to his fidelity both in relationships and in business dealings with others. Not been fraudulent and understanding the fragility of the heart of others.
A man in today's society is out to protect and better the lives of those who have reposed trust and faith in him and a watch over them. And he does all within his powers to make things work out well.
Openness and having the ability to accept his error and ask for aid when necessary. Only a modern man would do this.
An analog man would still maintain that old version of man who things having a dick and putting food on the table for the family makes him a man.
This modern man understands that biological attributes no longer define a man. As gender now is a thing of choice.
The new thinking pattern of the modern man.
This modern man should think in this wise,
That biological make up don't decide gender anymore anyone could be what what ever gender he/she chooses to be.
Furthermore, the modern man should be more proactive, productive and never loosing focus on his identity as a man . This is authentic, peculiar.
He should do well to throw away the traditional thinking of women are weaker vessels , that woman are just only but an article of sex . That without him she's incomplete. Such ideology is old fashioned as many women can have a successful life without a man even to the point of raising kids without any sexual intercourse. Not even looking for any man to pay her bills as she has more than enough for her good.
Conclusion.
To be a modern man or to be a man in today's society, entails not thinking like the men of the 18th and 19th centuries and step up to the life of the 21st century where gender is a choice. The man of this time must not maintain the status quo of viewing providing for the needs of the woman and having a dick as the only reason why he's a man as these factors no more man one a man.
Rather openness and uniqueness and staying positive asking for help when necessary keeping to fidelity, being accountable, loving, protective are some of the things that makes a man man in this time in life.
