Last week, I had a chance to visit Manila for work. I have colleagues joining for this work trip but we all decided to get separate rooms since it's within the company budget. I've never slept in a hotel alone so I got thrilled and curious how it would feel.
Behind the thick curtains is a glass window that gives me this view of the city at night. I wish I opened up my curtains as I sleep so I could savour this view but part of me was also scared that someone might climb up and get in my unit. So I opted to close my curtains.
This is my mini kitchen counter with heat stove where I could cook some late night snacks. But since we were so full from dinner, I only had some hot tea to calm myself to sleep.
The TV was on as soon as I walked into the room. It was tuned in to Bloomberg so I let it continue playing the whole night. I've been following the news about the US economy and all economist and financial analyst says that gold is still the best investment.
They have room service and massage service too! Plus a gym.
The next day, we had breakfast at the hotel. I ordered their oatmeal breakfast thinking that it's an overnight oats. I confirmed this with the hotel staff too. But apparently, we had a miscommunication and I was served a hot oatmeal instead.
My colleague ordered pancakes for breakfast.
Overall, i enjoyed my solo hotel experience. I only wish I could stay longer as the room was truly cozy. There were some inconvenience with their staff and I but I don't want to sweat the small stuffs.

Curious din ako nung una sis. This experience satisfied my curiosity. Medj may Kaba kasi baka may biglang pumasok sa room. That's why I on the tv the whole night para hindi masyadong tahimik.
