WE280 || Her name was, Gloria...

I have been busy during this week until this weekend, going in and out of my house, I half reviewed two doctoral theses, which were sent to me for evaluation, but they sent me the results of the research unfocused so, that I have to do it (review them) maybe on the laptop, computer that I have not opened...

We have been as we say in my country, helping others, for that reason, I have been on hot paws on the streets.

It happens that a great Venezuelan friend, who currently lives in West Guinea, has her daughter recently arrived here, in my city, her husband, who is from Guinea for work reasons had to come to work in our country for six (6) months and my friend Elena, asked my husband and me, to please assist her daughter, while she settled in the apartment, I think this weekend we culminated the welcome help, and we return to our family and work dynamics.

Many times... Without thinking twice, I have canceled my routine for that or prolonged it waiting for someone. Years ago I attended a foundation for the elderly, and I set aside three times a week for home care for a dear lady with terminal cancer to whom I read, amused her and told her my life and she hers.

I helped her with a specialist to do lymphatic drainage, and I mobilized her, but it was like a friends date, we had a symbolic fee at the request of her daughter who was sorry that I was going. We had never met before but he treated me like a daughter.

Those last four months before he died were emotionally comforting for that whole family and for me. It was a hard blow when I told him that I had to travel out of the.for my husband's work reasons, although I told her it was for a few weeks, she knew she didn't have time.

Three days after arriving back to my country, I was informed that he had died. It was painful for me but, I was grateful to have met her, to have received her unconditional love and to have made her last days more comforting. May God have her in His glory.

I remember walking into that house and I didn't know when I was leaving because she was holding my hand and wouldn't let go. The daughters scolded her because they said she was going to asphaxiate me... hahahaha...

I think it had to do with the fact that I never treated her as sick, I listened to her and she had so many interesting things to say....

Her name was Gloria, and she died two days after coming to me️️😭😭 from her side. May God have her in His glory! No one lacks God.
