RE: Flexibility and adaptability as key qualities. (Week 306)

Good morning, dear friend @avdesing.

It's incredible the things we have to get used to when we live in countries like ours.

After my parents separated, I had to live in a neighborhood that seemed lost in time. There was no electricity, no running water, and no sewage system. We didn't light our homes with oil lamps, we drank water from a cistern, and we washed our clothes in a lagoon. Food was preserved by drying; that is, the meat was cut into tubs and dried in the sun.

I learned from a young age what it means to survive with very little. That's why I understand what you've been through.

Although, unfortunately, going through a situation like that prepares you for anything that might happen. Having experienced what you went through in Argentina helped you cope with what happened in Spain with your family and prevent them from panicking.

Thank you so much for sharing this unfortunate experience.

Have a great day.

I know you understand what I’ve been through, because we both live in the same country—we understand each other. That’s why, when I read about Cubans and Venezuelans, I understand what they’re going through and the discouragement it causes. Thanks, Luis!
