Everyone has something they love doing during their free time and for me, I love tourism. I love going out to see new places, going out on little adventures, and enjoying the beauty of nature.
My love for tourism began back in 2015 when my school organized an excursion for a geography trip to one of the nearby museum in a community that was surrounded by mountains. That trip gave me my first real taste of hiking, and it was such a wonderful experience. Climbing the mountain and watching the world from above looking very small. I remember standing at the top on one mountain, looking down at the houses and the cars, that looked so small from up. The view was so beautiful that it made me fall in love with adventure and from that moment, I knew exploring places would become something I’d always enjoy.
Since my town were I live is close to a mountain area, I often go hiking during weekends just to relax. It has become one of my favorite ways to spend my free time. Every hike feels a bit different, sometimes I go there and I discover a new path different from the path I follow previously and a quiet resting spot.
When I was serving, I also went hiking on hiking on one of their mountain area, and the view from the top was amazing. From the top, I see the entire community down to the next community. I wish I had those pictures. The experience and memories are still there, they never fade.
Apart from hiking, I love visiting zoos, ranch and wildlife parks. Seeing animals and learning about them always excites me. I enjoy watching how they move, eat, their mating and live in their natural surroundings. Each time I visit the parks, it always feels like an adventure, full of new things to see and learn.
Traveling to new places, meeting people, and experiencing nature in different forms makes me happy and I always derive pleasure from them. For me, tourism isn’t just about fun, it’s also about discovering, learning, and appreciating life in different ways.
One of my biggest dreams is to travel around the world someday. I want to visit many countries, climb more mountains, see rivers, parks, and famous places I’ve only read about and see online. I believe every place has its own story, and I want to experience those stories myself.
Tourism is my favorite hobby and I always feel joy each time I go for it. Every trip I take, no matter how small, adds something new to my life. That’s what makes tourism special to me.
