On the farm growing up in Pennsyl-Tucky we had a rope swing over the pond and spent many a hot summer days splashing down with a backflip or a corkscrew.
One of the things missing in my life is a swimming pool. I have always wanted an in ground pool. But showers it is. A bath is rare. But a shower is daily when home. Sometimes there may be a second shower during the summer months as any outdoor activity will bring on the need for another.
My co-pilot and best friend Sammi Jo has no problem with a bath. This photo is her a few years back. I took an all to rare bath and she came up to the edge and was curious so I scooped her up and set her in the water with me. She did not even try to get away.
My Mans Best Friends have passed away but they left some great memories behind. Nikita and Sierra the girls loved to swim and play in the water. Frosty the Long Haired mostly black male Husky did not like the water much and had to be forced into the pool or pond. Nikita, Frosty and Sierra. Three throw aways. Some Humans are really horrible trashy people and as soon as the puppy is gone and they are full grown. Out they go. Thrown away like trash.
We rescue adopted the three of them in the late 90's and they were with us for about 14 years. Several times a year we would fill a small plastic pool and give them a good bath time scrubbing.
We would take Frosty the Long hair to the groomer when the summer months would get hot and have his hair cut short.
In 2004 I dug a quarter acre pond. Many a summer day was spent splashing around in it with the doggy dogs. I think we gave them a good life. They were spoiled with air conditioned concrete igloos and plenty of love. We miss them ❤️
Thanks for Riding Bathing along with Ol' KrazzyTrukker this week @ the end of the 5th year of #weekend-engagement community shenanigans. What a great Ride Bath it has been.

Almost, but not quite pornographic. Still, the ladies will be out there swooning and saying, I need me some of that! Ah yeah man, could one blame them? Methinks not.
Thaaazzz Right...
Hey there's one of those "Ladies" right now! 👀

Lol.
Gosh, that really was a beautiful memories with those cutie big babies. The sad thing is, they can't be with us until we get old. But how about Sammy Jo? Is she still not afraid in a water?
Samantha is quite mellow these days altho She made me bleed last week when I was trying to pin brush a rats nest off of her butt. Shedding season and a long hair rag doll is a pain in the Ars literally.
Have not tried to bath her lately. She does non stop primping and smells quite good actually if you like the smell of cat spit... 🤤
Getting into a bath with a cat is a bold move, if I tried that the water would turn pink
Now that right there is fun knee.
Cue the jaws music. 🦈
