# Life is a Numbers Game #

In the year #1993 I went to my first NASCAR race event. It was at the Michigan Speedway in the Irish Hills. I had no idea who the #3 Dale Earnhardt was. I had heard of all the old guard drivers like Richard Petty and Daryl Waltrip. But this black #3 car. The GM Goodwrench sponsored car was amazing. I came away from that day not just drunk and hungover but a big fan.

Kelly and I have gone to a large # of NASCAR Racing events in our #30+ years together. The foto below is the #1 of the #3 things I care about the most. Pictured with the Clydesdale Horse that pulls the Budweiser Stagecoach Beer Wagon. She was a big #9 Kasey Kane fan. I think she just thought he looked good. But he was also a pretty talented driver when he took over driving for the #9 team Bill Eliot retired from.

This #2 foto is my Leather Jacket doing it's job by keeping me warm on a #35°F/#2°C cold night ride home from Daytona Speedway. We both have our leather NASCAR jackets still. She has the #9 of course.

We spent #1000's of dollars on swag and race events over nearly a #20 year period. But like everything else. Life seems to take more than it gives. The horrible death of my hero Dale Earnhardt. The Woke DEI transformation of NASCAR in trying to be global and abandoning their fans for the greed of big money sponsorships. Horrible rule changes and sketchy enforcement. That drove us away. It has been #10 years and we do not even recognize the race series that we once loved.

The #2 of the #3 things I care about the most are my rescue cats. My #1 and I do not have any children so our #2 fur babies get worshipped & spoiled a little bit more than they would otherwise. All #14 of them! #1 is Samantha Jo, she rides by my side. #8 of them are indoors sharing space with us, #2 pisser's in a cat sanctuary shed, (You pee in a box if you want to share our living space), #3 of #5 original "Black Cloud Ferals" still roam our property after #15 years and have sanctuary spaces, a heat lamp, an air conditioned shed and fenced yard to keep most predators out. It took us over #10 years but these ferals will now eat out of our hands and we can pet them. 💕
