Yeah I'd probably prefer the raven as well. Mainly because I see them more and actually recognize them. I don't know if I could actually point out a crow in a line up. Unless they are the only other black bird 🤔

Ravens are a bit larger and have a slightly different voice. But the decider for me was Edgar Allen Poe "quoth the Raven Nevermore". He didn't quoth the crow (and it's darn near Halloween so Poe is trending :))
Yeah. My mind goes there as well when I think of Ravens.
