First, happy belated birthday. Second, I'm glad you decided to celebrate this time and had a good time. Third, I also went through a similar situation on my birthday haha. We went out to eat with some friends and one of them couldn't think of a better idea than to tell the waiter that it was his birthday. They played the song “Happy Birthday” and everyone in the place started clapping and singing. Very embarrassing haha.
