Hello dear users, I really can't explain how I've been able to overcome certain events in my life. On this occasion, our friend @galenkp invites us to give examples of how we've overcome situations we've experienced. I have many examples that come to mind like scenes from a movie.
I can give an example that repeats itself in my life. When I encounter an unexpected event, I go straight to the creator father; thinking about him fills me with a lot of energy.
I must be honest, I confess that at 60 years of age, I haven't been through many difficult situations. What I remember most is feeling very lonely during my childhood. There wasn't much I could do at that stage, but reading helped me get through those moments. My grandmother's death was a difficult experience. I think that was the worst thing I've ever been through. I just let myself be overcome by sadness, but there wasn't much I could do. I have matured with regard to death. At that time, I didn't know how to handle the situation. Those who have been through this will surely understand me.
Now I have a phrase that helps me a lot: “Everything passes.” With this phrase, I have been able to overcome some emotions after making the decision to divorce as an adult with grown children. This phrase gives me a lot of strength and makes me think about my self-esteem. It is a great anchor to keep me moving forward in a positive way.
It's no secret that my country's economy is somewhat deteriorated. I also think this is happening worldwide, with the difference that other countries have better salaries to overcome this reality. Having the positive energy that there is a supreme being who is watching over us is a great way to deal with difficult situations.
I was someone who didn't know how much food cost, didn't know how to run a household. Of course, I knew many things, but when I lost that pillar in my home due to mental health issues, I was left hanging, but that didn't stop me from moving forward. I feel that everything happens for a reason. Now, if I'm missing some food, I think that dawn will come, I can fast and give God my message, and to my surprise, I wake up alive and must continue.
I haven't had any difficult moments, but when something confuses me or makes me doubt, I just tell myself, “This too shall pass.”
Thank you for this lovely suggestion!
