Since I know that we shouldn't post here about political armageddons. I think it would be okay to post a post about the internet armageddon that happened to us. I'm kidding, it's not armageddon.
We were left without internet for a few days.
I just got motivated to write about other topics.
And that, I have to admit, was my fault.
I don't know how it happened,
Somehow I overlooked the internet bill from January.
February, March paid and January I didn't pay
I usually pay month by month. Was I still celebrating New Year's or something so I skipped it.
Usually when it happened, when we were left without internet I thought that the technical service was working on a network problem and.
Since it took so long I decided to call the operators to see what was going on.
It's happened a couple of times that they've been working all day.
But this time, they didn't tell me I was disconnected because of an unpaid bill.
Of course, it wasn't clear to me right away.
Since we had monthly internet on one phone, we weren't completely cut off.
I went to the website to check, and I really hadn't paid. In the end, I pulled out my receipt drawer and checked there.

The bill hadn't been paid. Even though I pay everything online, I always mark the physical bill when I pay.
Even though we live in an online world, I live in a country where it's possible for my entire data to go down. Or they might send you a warning letter on the 1st of the month because someone didn't do their job and report it. I keep my physical bills and deposits for a year or two.
Do you keep your bills?
At first it seemed like the end of the world to us.
No internet, no favorite shows, no movies, sports, games.
Although we had monthly internet on one phone, there were three of us, my wife, son and I. And the internet on that phone is not strong enough for us to share it.
At first there was a little fighting over who would get the phone first.
But we quickly came to terms with the fact that there was no internet.
Since we live in the countryside, we have our own yard and garden. It's not that bad. We spent more time in the yard and garden. Both as a need to do something and to enjoy the nice weather and relax.
I also noticed that we started talking to each other more, joking more.
We played some old games like Word by Word, or interesting geography, cards, dice games...
Actually, the internet being gone isn't that bad. I think we just adapted faster.
As soon as the internet arrived, we went back to our old habits.
But through a story with my wife, we plan to intentionally turn off the internet and be offline for a while. To spend time with our son. Actually, that's not such a bad idea.
Have you ever been offline or are you planning to?
Thanks for reading.
Until next time.
Stay healthy.

It is hard for us to go completely offline. All my classes are online. All our television is streamed. But, I plan to spend more time outside now that it is warming up. I don't have kids at home anymore, but will be spending more time with the wife outside tending to flowers and the lawn.
