A few days ago I sent my daughter to do the week's laundry because I had been busy with some repairs at home and felt very tired. Whenever it's my daughter's turn to do laundry, I scold her for various reasons, and that's when I realized that I'm very meticulous when it comes to washing clothes 🤭
I like to be organized when it comes to laundry. I even have a specific order for how I put the detergent, bleach, and fabric softener in the washing machine, and I separate the items that need to be hand-washed. I'm also very meticulous when it comes to putting clothes away after washing. That's where the conflict with my daughter starts. Even though I've explained it to her several times so she can copy my method, sometimes she tries to do it her own way, which I think is fine too, but then it stresses me out and I start scolding her. She also has a bad habit of leaving the clothes on a chair after washing them and not putting them away for days. That stresses me out and makes me even angrier 😡
One day my daughter said to me, "Please, Mom, calm down!" Maybe I don't use your methods, but the results are still good 🤭 and that's when I realized I'm very meticulous when it comes to laundry 😩. Now I try not to bother her too much when it's her turn to do the laundry, but I still keep an eye on her in case she makes a mistake 🤭
