🍻 Don't get drunk!

I am at a stage in my young adult life where the only alcoholic beverages I like are beer and wine. If either of these options are not available, then I'd better pass.

I am not much of a drinker, I really limit my drinking to special occasions or very sporadic outings with my close group of friends. In fact, on many occasions it has happened that I go out with my group of friends and I am the only one in the group that doesn't drink simply because it doesn't provoke me. I have always been a believer that you don't need to drink large amounts of alcohol to have a good time with your friends. On the other hand, the times I drink alcohol I do it in moderation because I know perfectly well what my limit is, besides I don't like the feeling it leaves in your body to get drunk...that's no fun for me, it's not nice to feel unbalanced because you exceeded your limit.

Cóctel a base de ron blanco y parchita (y otros sabores que no recuerdo), me pareció interesante sólo por probarlo.

With alcohol, sometimes the same thing happens to me that happens with coffee: I find it fun to taste the nuances of the flavors of drinks. For example, not all beers taste the same, not all wines taste the same and not to mention cocktails! Many of these drinks end up being an explosion of interesting flavors. In the last few months my favorite alcoholic beverage has been the caroreña in its special summer red flavor. This drink tastes quite nice and refreshing, in fact, a couple of weeks ago I had a picnic with my girlfriends and the star drink was this one...well chilled, of course, because it contrasted perfectly with the hot and sunny day.

So, basically, that's what it's all about. I don't like to drink to get drunk because I don't find pleasure in it, I like to do it rather to taste a different drink and to celebrate a special moment.
