Are you worried about growing older from a looks and financial security perspective?

A conversation that I always have with my husband is about the arrival of old age and I tell him that he doesn't like to talk about this subject, men find it difficult to talk about it more, but it is a time that we cannot paralyse, that sooner or later it will come into our lives, and I am definitely not afraid of it, But the arrival of this stage if I do not prepare myself well to face it, that is to say in terms of a healthy and active lifestyle, as well as in the financial sphere, because reaching old age without money is really ugly, and that is very common nowadays, it is a stage that will be very difficult to face if we do not prepare ourselves, and I am very clear about this.

We cannot expect to reach old age without preparing ourselves physically for it, so that we do not become more depressed, as everything begins to fall drastically if we do not take care of ourselves when we see ourselves in the mirror, in photos, it does cause us emotional impact, which leads us to accelerate the suffering of diseases. Being dependent on someone in old age is something I fear, so we must also prepare ourselves financially so as not to increase the burden of illness due to lack of money. With money we can guarantee a better quality of life in our old age.

In those conversations that I have with my husband on this subject, we always touch on the point of the economic income that we must have in addition to a pension, since this is not enough for anything, and that during old age, what we need most is medical attention, due to the great number of ailments that we have at this stage where everything is reaching the end of its useful life span.

My daughter has just gone to secondary school, and something in me has changed, as I feel that the freshness of a child at home that makes us look younger, has passed, and my daughter has grown up and the arrival of old age is imminent, there are so many things that we see today with the elderly, which makes this stage even more difficult. The arrival of old age is a stage that unfortunately excludes us from society as we cease to be productive and attractive to the models established by society itself.
