Spending some time with the family, exploring the magical Chriatmas spirit in the city!

Christmas is a time for families to come together and celebrate the holiday season. One of the most fun and exciting ways to do this is by decorating the town with festive lights and various colorful decorations. Whether it's stringing up lights on the house, setting up a Christmas tree in the living room, or hanging wreaths on the front door, there are countless ways for families to get into the holiday spirit.

In many cities, community organizations and local businesses come together to put on spectacular light shows and decorations, creating a magical atmosphere that brings joy to people of all ages. So what a better opportunity to gather your loved ones and take a stroll through town to admire the beautiful Christmas decorations, and make lasting memories with your family this holiday season?

The day started quite well, we and the kids got prepared for a walk after our lunchtime. It was quite good that the weather was warm, although it’s not the usual winter weather.

As you can see from the photos, this year the municipality has decided to decorate with some sort of “eco” decorations. They used some wood logs that are cut in a specific manner and then painted over like Santa Claus, snowmen and dwarfs. I think it’s the first year that I see such decorations around. I think the local High school of arts may have decided to join some initiative that includes this art installation!

One thing is sure - the kids were extremely happy to see these little “fellows” around the park and they also were going around and searching the park for more of these.

After our day walk, it was time to head back home. The kids do need their afternoon nap, otherwise they become very nervous before it’s time for going to bed. But our plan for the day wasn’t over.

We were waiting for the night to fall, just in order to visit the downtown too. There were a lot of lights installed everywhere, but we have seen them only in the light part of the day.

It’s good that the little man walks on his own already and he does it in a quite skillful manner. The falls are not a part of his walking routine anymore. We, as parents are feeling more relaxed when having a walk with the kids.

The lights give a whole different atmosphere to the downtown and although they are not that much, they manage to do their job and bring warm feelings into our souls.

Just like at noontime, the temperatures were quite warm for the winter, so we weren’t concerned about kids getting cold.

Generally, although some decorations are the same every year, the municipality gives us something new and different every year. And even though it’s been some years since we last had a real Christmas tree on the square, the “replica” looks quite fancy and modern looking. I think that this is a good practice, on one side, because less trees are cut thanks to this practice.

Some more photos on Santa’s chair before we head back home? Yes, why not… and the throne is big enough to fit both of the brothers. Next year, we will not be able to fit all the kids, when their sister is born. Or maybe they will bring even bigger chair for the purpose? Who knows…

See you soon and wish you unforgettable moments with the family. Let Christmas spirit make miracles!

Bye!
