Yup, it's quite sad at times how history is written and what happens to people along the way. The world can be a cruel place to people if you don't fit the social norm of the time.
I'll have to do some digging but even people like Einstein have come under scrutiny in recent years. Letters and recordings have been identified that shows his wife was the brains behind some of his inventions. But as women weren't seen as equal to men people wrote her out.
Then there is the space race, made possible due to women and history left them out too.
History may well be written by the victors, but luckily sometimes traces remain so we can uncover what really occurred. Always good to rattle the status quo a bit. 😉
This is true, it is amazing when you rattle the cage and what lays beneath begins to rise. It makes alot of people uncomfortable and it's hard for people to make sense of the world around them.
People they listen to and trust have handed down incorrect information so it makes it hard for them to process.
