I'm so sorry for what you had to go through all those years; thinking that way certainly wasn't doing you any good. It's wonderful that you learned how to change your ways. You're an admirable person, very intelligent.

My grandfather always advises me not to memorize. Nor should I study just to get top marks; he says that we have to learn by reasoning, because studying is what will allow me to connect with others throughout my life.

There are lots of things in life that aren’t much use, but if you want to travel, for example, you need English – that’s my goal… to travel, and I need it, ha ha ha

Memorising things isn’t much use, because you end up forgetting them. Making connections is the best way, and it gives your brain a better workout too. Thanks, Abi!
