Today I had a sunny day full of fun and games at one of my favorite places: the beach.
Responding to one of the questions of this weekend, I wanted to share with you part of what was perhaps my last recreational activity of the year in nature. For a few years now I have taken the habit of going to the beach on the last weekend of the year, I think it is already a kind of ritual in my family.
To begin with because it is a form of cleansing, I have always believed in the purifying and healing power of the sea, and in a way I feel it prepares me for the coming year.
On the other hand, it is a nice and fun way to say goodbye to the year, they say that the way you end the year, in addition to closing the cycle and say goodbye to it, gives welcome or entry to the new.
Therefore, for me, beyond connecting with a sense of loss for something that is leaving, it is a new door of opportunities that opens to explore and experience.
Perhaps this year 2023 I could not realize or carry out many plans or ideas I had and it was certainly a bit rushed for what I expected, but still, I say goodbye to it with satisfaction and look forward with excitement to the field of infinite possibilities that open for me this coming 2024.
So, with that childlike enthusiasm, I played racquetball on the beach with my children, I ventured to swim to a cliff with my little son on my back, I sunbathed and also had some nice cold beers, I bathed for hours, I greatly appreciated having my feet in the sand and I had the joy of watching the sunset from a lookout where I could have spent many hours enraptured with the grandeur of the sea.
This is how I spent my last weekend of this 2023, and I wish for 2024 that all these possibilities that are opening up for me and all of you who read me are of well-being and harmony.
