RE: No Time to Complain

in Weekend Experiences3 months ago

no one is going to come to save you

That phrase has been stuck in my head these past few days. The situation is complex, and the difficulty of our surroundings should spark awakening—a search for solutions... but remember, not everyone is the same, nor do they have the same energy after years and years of watching everything deteriorate even further. This place feels like a prison. Just look at the number of requirements we have to meet to leave in search of better horizons? Many of them are nearly impossible to fulfil. And let’s not even talk about money… if you're alone, gathering enough to get out is tough. Now imagine if you also have to help your family or care for someone who's ill… I'm telling you, it's overwhelmingly complicated. You even run the risk of getting sick from the stress.
Still, I believe that what you hold in your mind can come true, as long as you keep moving forward, never give up, and don’t drown in complaints or let yourself be poisoned by the negative energy that surrounds so many people. I know very few who carry good energy, and because of that, I often feel quite alone... I have my bike, it’s my escape. And the sea. I have healthy ways to release stress as you can see. Writing is one of them too. Not everyone finds healthy outlets for their stress. I quit smoking a long time ago; I was totally hooked, convinced that puffing smoke was a way to cope… haha… but really, I was just making myself sicker.
And I always hold on to this reminder, even though I sometimes fall into deep holes that I always try to climb out of, of course.

;) Thank you! This reminder is always appreciated.

As I read you, my Nonna comes to mind. My grandma worked for the government her whole life, and now she depends on the family to survive (because living here is no longer feasible) There are many people like that, but that's life everywhere in the world—unjust, but life nonetheless.

And yes, it’s hard not to be overwhelmed by negative thoughts, while positive ones are scarce. But at least we can still fight and change our situations. There are many things against us, yes, but being negative is not the way to go. You are one of those people who radiate positivity, one of the few who still manages to smile despite the difficulties of our situation, and I hope you achieve everything you need to improve as you wish 🤗
