❤️Happy weekend❤️

I live in a small town called Cagua capital of the sucre municipality this belongs to aragua state Venezuela, its history begins in the year 1620 I remember because when I studied primary school teachers always told us the same story every year when approaching the festivities of the people, this was founded by the Spaniards like all people the houses were made of mud but this over the years was changing and became an industrial city.

In the year 1913 by order of the president of the state of Aragua General Pedro José Rodríguez previously they were called president now they are called governor decreed the construction of the square sucre of Cagua is located in the center of the city as it ceased to be a town for its commercial growth, in the center of the square is the monument of the Procer of independence Antonio José de Sucre also known as the Grand Marshal of Ayacucho this was a Venezuelan politician, statesman, diplomat and military strategist his link with the liberator Simon Bolivar the freedom of peoples.

The monument is in the center of the square and is in turn in the center of the city in its surroundings is the cathedral, the municipal mayor's office, the police command and several stores visit the city Cagua is to pass and see the monument of Procer of independence Antonio José de Sucre from there comes the name of the municipality giving honor to who accompanied the Liberator Simon Bolivar in the freedom of their peoples participating in some wars, Some years ago there was only the bust but in the government of President Luis Herrera Campis another remodeling was done to the square and they placed the bronze statue of Antonio José de Sucre mounted on a horse, the last remodeling and maintenance of the square was in 2019 where they painted and changed the wall ceramics where the statue is located.

The square of course is a place for recreation, it is normal to see families taking their children to ride bikes, play ball or eat an ice cream and the photos are not long in coming, I am one of those who take pictures every time I pass through.
