A few friends of mine from senior high school got into a bit of an issue with some homemade explosives (nerds playing as chemists). One took half a hand off and part of a leg, the other part of a leg. They were out in the bush (pre mobile phone) and the third had to run about 8 miles for help. Best not to dabble!
