Hello Hive!
This first weekend of October is coming to an end, and we are pleased to share some of the privileged experiences we had in Santa Clara, central Cuba. This city stands out for its wealth of cultural activities and options for audiences with diverse preferences, despite the indescribably difficult situation we face on a daily basis. If, during these activities, one is fortunate enough to share time with special people who also join us at Hive, so much the better!
Let me pour myself a cup of coffee and turn up the music of Rammstein's song Amerika to continue telling you.
I've mentioned before that sometimes you set out to conquer the day with an idea, and suddenly reality overtakes you. Sometimes it's for the better, and other times it's better to ignore it and focus on the valuable and positive. The same thing happens on weekends.

I'm not a big wine drinker, but I took the opportunity to uncork a bottle offered at the Más Allá Bar Art Gallery, located on the city's Boulevard. We enjoyed a poetry recital that took over the 10th Latin American Writers' Meeting in the company of @abelarte @yeniturino @yasmanysorcier @lizandra and other writer friends who may join us here someday.

Fortunately, the weekend isn't a single day long. So, the hours pass with new options, and we head to the provincial headquarters of the Cuban Writers' Union, where an engaging short story reading took place, organized as a contest with @juantomaskirk74 @abelarte @yasmanysorcier, and ultimately won hands down by our respected @ernestopg. This event was filled with laughter and the quality of each reading moved everyone.

To celebrate, we were able to share coffee and a few drinks, and then, on what would be the last day of the weekend, we returned to the complicity of another event, also brimming with remarkable aesthetic and human quality.

As you might expect, music was a must. In search of it, we headed to the Museum of Decorative Arts to dance to the rhythm of jazz thanks to Barbería y su Grupo, a remarkable musical band that has conquered even New Orleans and graced us with its magic.

Now, I'm ready to enjoy a play, which I'll tell you about another time. I say goodbye, but not before applauding you, as @lizandra applauds each choice, inviting you to uncork another bottle of wine if you'd like, listening to poetry or reading it, but above all, I invite you to smile and love, always!
Until next weekend, whether in America, Europe, or another corner of the world, please receive a hug of light!
