I'm pretty sure it's been a while since you last got chicks but in my head you have a vast farm swarming with millions of free range chookies XD

I wish! Haha no, it's been since last Spring. I currently have 6 happy hens. They do NOT get to free range, as we've tried it but we have a lot of dense woodlands around us and with the sea, many predatory birds, so whenever we've attempted it, if the foxes, skunk, mink, coyotes don't get them the osprey or hawks do haha. So Now, we'll have 15 hens total (as I have 6 others that a few weeks older). Our 'vast' farm is only 3 acres, but still a lot to take care of on our own :) I hope you had a great Sunday @ryivhnn

3 acres is still a decent size :D
