New trip to Portugal - Castelo Branco district

Although it is still not the weekend, are taking a few days off till Sunday, so for us, the weekend starts today this week. We left the house early, at 5:00 am, to try to reach our destination before 5:00 pm after driving more than 1000 Km. We plan to stop every 250/300 Km to rest and eat. We will be camping at some friend's land so we prefer to reach our destination while there is still sunlight and we can set up the tent.

This is a new adventure for us as we are signing our "promise" purchasing contract on Friday to get a piece of rustic land in a small village close to Castelo Branco city. Our plan is to come back in January to sign the final purchase. Here's a photo of Castelo Branco Bishop's Palace which is the main attraction in the city. We can actually see the castle from our future land.

Next spring I will have to work on the property's tiny house to make it comfortable so we can spend 2 or 3 months in the summer. Having a chance to see and learn from our friends who have already been living on their land for four years will for sure be of great help.

I've been working remotely with Portuguese lawyers to have everything ready by Friday morning, it's been a little bit stressful but I am happy everything seems to be working properly.

I'll try to post from there once we are all settled. Now we still have a few more hours to go.

What a nice adventure! Enjoy!

Every new project always brings great emotions and generates a lot of expectations. The location is beautiful. The castle has the appearance of being an excellent location for filming a movie.

Dear @santigs I hope everything continues its good progress and that soon we can enjoy your first publication made in your little piece of heaven.

Best regards!

A great aventure i like it
