well theres some life changers for the planet as mentioned, light bulbs have been useful, booze is awesome, penicillin pretty useful but for me aircraft. Shrinking distances is one thing for passengers and cargo but flying and us being able to is staggering. I spent a few hours in the sky yesterday with @iamyohann and just amazing to be up there and weirdly it feels so right. Flying over mountains, lakes a massive quarry. Weirdest thing about the day my heart rate ( according to my garmin) lowest its been for months, so chill. You'd think being in an open cockpit 100ft up I'd be crapping myself. Ahhh wait no changed my mind DIapers/ Nappies. Best thing ever or my son would have shit everywhere as a baby.

Flight is amazing...Thanks to the Wright brothers who became the first humans to fly (hot air balloons aside) we can all experience it. Of course human flight has come a long way since then. I like to fly in planes and helicopters and have done it a lot...Small planes too. But I think something I'd like to do is this below. I mean WTF! I can see me doing this, although I'll probably die doing it! I don't know, if one is at peace with oneself I think what better way to go?

Damn I've always loved watching these people do this! I don't know if I have the balls to do it myself but holy shit does it look incredible. Some of the coolest ones I've seen are the people who do it in New Zealand I think, off giant cliffs and stuff. Some of them fly so close to the rock face, it's insane! lol
Edit - it's probably Switzerland that I see often, the Alps are probably the best place to ever do it! I would be more apt to jump out of a helicopter to do it than jumping off a cliff face lol
I don't know man, I've done some fucked up things and this is fucked up but I reckon I'd do it. If I crashed and burned...What a way to go! My only stipulation would by that some mother fucker takes my demise-video and makes a shit-ton on a hive post on my behalf! 🤪

I second this motion, so many times I've been tempted to start this hobby but my concious (wife) keeps screaming no and says if you want to die I can do it for you faster and probably cleaner.
I'd say hitting the ground at terminal velocity is pretty fast.
I'd rather do that than sit in a nursing home as an old man.
Knowing my luck I'd only break my legs and back confining me to a wheel chair :(

ENGAGEtokens.Yeah, flight is really one of the coolest things to experience. I've never gone up in a small craft but living near an airport that launches small ones all day every day, I can see how it is really an incredible experience! I don't know if I would be good at flying in the small ones though, I'd wear my parachute the whole time and be one foot out the door the moment something sketchy comes up lol
lol you might surprise yourself. @iamyohann gave me a few lessons in the gyrocopter and believe me its a buzz. I can see how he got addicted to it
