Squirrel Sunday - Tax Time

in Weekend Experiences2 years ago (edited)

The squirrels are back for #squirrelsunday

The rich squirrel is getting fat off her stash warming up in the sun on her expansive estate. He has figured out a way to hide his stash in an area with lots of dogs and hawks to scare away any tax collectors.

The scrawny scrappy squirrel is jealous and only has dumpsters to dive into looking for junk food. The dumpsters are prized territory and this scrapper has to fight constantly over them only to have a high tax fee placed on anything he finds in the dumpster...

The tax collector squirrel is eyeing both looking for his cut. No one gets away from me and my fines! But then he hears the loud barks from the dogs near the rich squirrel's stash and runs away.

The middle class worker squirrel is hiding out trying to make secret stashes that the scrapper, tax and rich squirrels can't steal from him. He will only leave his older rotten stash out in the open for them to steal.

The rich squirrel wanted to get richer and took one of the worker squirrel's old stashed acorns. Yum yum now I am even more rich eating this free food... Later that day she was hit with really bad poops, there is no such thing as a free lunch.

Tax collector squirrel is taking stock of fresh new buds and keeping track of who harvests them.

Now this poor sap is going to try and collect some buds off the books but there are spying eyes in the bushes below. There is gonna be a bad audit this year.

The trick is to go really high up in the tree where the buds haven't been accounted for. Then no one gets caught. Careful though, the hawks like to fly at this height...

This squirrel has fled to a different forest where there are no taxes. Its a bit anarchistic over here but if you have street smarts and common sense its easier to survive here than in the highly regulated forest. The worst thing to worry about are other anarchist squirrels trying to sell you pyramid schemes.

Now the rich squirrel is trying to figure out how to take over the anarchistic forest with a new protection scheme. That's a nice tax haven you have there, it would be a shame if some of my dogs started hanging around there... Perhaps a few acorns and walnuts would fend them off...

That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)

You're welcome, this is a great shot.:)))

very nice picture.. i like this picture very much.

Thanks, I finally got some good lighting on my walk.

same as it ever was...even in squirrel land.

Oooh the anarchist squirrels should setup up a snake pit for various intruders into their territory. That would even scare off the rich squirrel's dogs.

Lovely cute animals.

They are all over the place here, I have to try and find their bigger relatives sometime the woodchucks. I see evidence of their chewing on trees but rarely see them out in the open.

Thanks for following me, I followed you too

What an interesting fluffy beauty! You're lucky. You can constantly do a photo shoot!
