Looks like its another #squirrelsunday

This guy was munching on a propeller seed. I wonder if they taste any good or if they are gross like acorns?

Squirrly seems to like them, maybe they have a descent taste to them.

Dove says they taste like paper.

Turtle says they give him constipation.

Mr. Red-wing questions why a human is asking him this question?

Chipmunk is asking me where he can get a stash of those propeller seeds.

This guy is asking where the other chipmunk's stash is so he can raid it.

The spy is wondering how to pit the chipmunk and the squirrel against each other so he can take both their stashes in secret.

The other spy is working a scheme to tip off the chipmunk so he can secretly double cross the other spy and get a piece of the propeller seed action.

The rogue thief in the night stole all their walnut stash while the other characters were scheming about propeller seeds.
Morel of the story, rodents are cheeky little bastards.
Hahaha they most certainly are! I look forward to their squirrely antics every week now 😁
Now that its getting warm again there are loads of them out pulling their schemes. I'll have to try and visit the chipmunk haven around here to see what they're up to.
hehe the moral of the story is 100% correct.
Loved the spy squirrels!
They have their eyes on everyone looking for any opportunity they can get.
hehe yes they do, I agree completely:)
🥰☀️🐿️🐁🕊️
Thanks :-)
My pleasure 🤗🌸
Ha ha ha, it reminded me of the chipmunks from Disney
Alvin and the chipmunks :-)
The eyes of Squirrels are super cute 😍
They have quite the shine to them. Very cartoon-like.
Haha I watched Operation Mincemeat on Netflix last night. Its a spy flick. My favorite part is Churchill says the problem with spies is they get so into all the possible twists and double crosses that they get all corkscrewed. He said do the obvious because its the obvious and most likely to be believed lol Btw there is a group of baby chipmunks playing with mom by a stonewall outside my house... or is it one chipmunk and some clone decoys 🤔 well whichever I've got to get some pictures.
Aww if they are babies you might be able to tame them down by putting some peanuts out for them. Just watch out for the spy ones that will slip into the house while the babies are distracting you.
Hahahaha lol 😂 they so are…
And nobody wants to tell you how they taste… just one way to find out 😉😎
Then once I get a taste for propeller seeds I'll be the one plotting on stealing the chipmunk's stash.
Hahahaha especially when you like it a lot lol 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Nobody gets any share anymore… you need a mastermind for cracking the little safes 🗝🗝🗝 they lock them up in.
I watched a documentary about chipmunks preparing for winter and some would only wait for the busy ones to go away from their stashes then would raid them and the poor busy squirrel was left with nothing.
O no… poor things. Wow… yep survival of the fittest.
Or the lazy and most cunning in this case.
Indeed hahaha 🤣
Good morning, have a wonderful day today 👋🏻☀️
LOL! Love your captions!
The rodents are pretty hilarious around here. I have to try and get video of them chasing each other in a spiral around the trees.
Great photos, lovely animals. As far as I know, such seeds (is it an ash-leaved maple?) are very fond of bullfinches in very cold weather, since they have a lot of fat.
I just read up on them and it seems quite a few different species of trees have these propeller seeds, and some are quite tasty even for humans.

Awe 😍😍 this squirrel is so so cute!! I love the 3rd picture, like if the animal were spying (it’s doing it, lol) from the heart of the grass.
The other pics are also pretty good!!
I had to kneel down to catch it at that angle lol.
Squirrels are very cute ... and of course other animals are great shots ;))
They are terribly cute and abundant around here.
very nice here are very rare to see ;))
