Good morning to all the members of this The weekend community that I recently discovered and really wanted to tell you about my experiences.
This weekend was very good for me because, as it was Easter, I did not work on Friday and we planned a trip to the beach with great joy and emotion, as it was our first family outing after the pandemic.
We have planned this trip with my dad and his wife since the pandemic began. I did not share with anyone out of fear, since our son has a health condition that we have to take care of, but everything is over and the one who likes the beach the most is him.
Well, that night with the preparations, I went to bed a little late because I wanted everything to be ready for the next day, I started to make cake, toast bread, prepare juices, to be able to enjoy myself just like everyone else and not be worried about anything, just having my five senses delight in direct contact with the air, sea and sun.

Este fin de semana fue muy bueno para mí pues, como era semana santa, no trabajé el viernes y planificamos un viaje a la playa con mucha alegría y emoción, pues era nuestra primera salida familiar después de la pandemia.
Este paseo lo planificamos con mi papá y su esposa desde que comenzó la pandemia. Yo no compartía con nadie por temor, ya que nuestro hijo tiene una condición de salud que le tenemos que cuidar, pero ya va pasado todo y al que más le gusta la playa es a él.
Pues bien, esa noche con los preparativos, me acosté un poco tarde porque quería que todo estuviese listo para el otro día, me puse a hacer ponqué, tostar pan, preparar jugos, para poder disfrutar igual que todos y no estar preocupada por nada, solo tener mis cinco sentidos en deleitarme del contacto directo con el aire, mar y sol.
Well, it's dawn and the house is in a ruckus, packing things in the truck to go on our big ride. We are going to Playa Guacuco, it has that name because a kind of edible snail that has this name lives there, it is a beach a little far from the house and it has a very exciting path, so I began to enjoy my walk before arriving, well the tour is very beautiful. You can see the mountains and from afar we can see there on the horizon and the sea, on the way there are many beautiful buildings, they are called the Chana ranches that have a very particular form of construction with wooden posts, that is in the locality from Guárdame, it has hills so high that a car without good brakes could not climb, but it has a spectacular view.
Pues bien, ya amaneció y la casa es todo un alboroto, montando las cosas en la camioneta para salir a nuestro gran paseo. Vamos a Playa Guacuco, tiene ese nombre porque en ella habita una especie de caracol comestible que tiene este nombre, es una playa un poco distante de la casa y tiene un camino muy emocionante, por lo que comencé a disfrutar mi paseo antes de llegar pues el recorrido es muy bonito. Se ven las montañas y desde lo lejos podemos ver allá en el horizonte y el mar, en el camino hay muchas construcciones bellas, les llaman los ranchos de Chana que tienen una forma de construcción muy particular con horcones de madera, eso queda en la localidad de Guárdame, tiene lomas tan altas que un carro sin buenos frenos no pude subir, pero tiene una vista espectacular.
As soon as we got to the beach and settled in, we immediately took a swim in the sea, it's so gratifying, but what I enjoyed most about the walk was doing something together, as a family, I've been limited to feeling like this for a long time, at least I could be my dad and his wife, well, although the family I built is with me, the rest is in my beloved Cuba and I haven't had that family touch for a long time and I miss it a lot.
En cuanto llegamos a la playa y nos acomodamos al momento nos dimos un baño de mar, es tan gratificante, pero lo que más disfruté del paseo fue hacer algo juntos, en familia, llevo mucho tiempo limitada a sentirme así, por lo menos pudo estar mi papá y su esposa, pues, aunque la familia que construí esta junto conmigo el resto está en mi Cuba querida y llevo mucho tiempo sin tener ese roce familiar y lo extraño mucho.
Although the sun was very strong and we didn't even feel it because the breeze was great, time went by very quickly between stories, jokes and the excellent landscape around us spent our day.
A pesar que el sol estaba muy fuerte ni lo sentíamos porque la briza era genial, el tiempo se nos pasó muy rápido entre cuentos, chistes y el excelente paisaje a nuestro alrededor paso nuestro día.
In the afternoon we came back very happy with the beautiful day we had, I hope we can repeat it more often since I live on an island surrounded by sea.
Ya en la tarde volvimos muy contentos del día bonito que tuvimos, espero que lo podamos repetir más seguido ya que vivo en una Isla rodeada de mar.
